Berry Benson diaries, 1861-1865, 1910-1911.

The collection mainly consists of diaries of Berry Benson from 1861-1865, which detail his service as a Confederate Civil War soldier with Company H of the 1st South Carolina Infantry Regiment as a scout and sharpshooter.
